You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else. - Albert Einstein

General Game.

∙ DRAMA RP drama is inevitable. However, this doesn't mean disputes can't be handled civilly between players. If players are unable to end a dispute between themselves, they should contact the moderator via AIM or in the drop box which will be checked daily. Individuals that start unnecessary OOC drama will only be given one warning before being dismissed or asked to leave the game on the second offense. The same is true of those who are found to be participating in and/or encouraging drama. There will be no exceptions - drama will not be tolerated here.

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS∙ Players are expected to post at least 1 journal entry and thread every two weeks as well as keep up with replies to other characters and threads. Activity checks will occur on Sunday one week prior to the final monthly check and a list will be put up on the OOC community listing journals that need to make a post (or thread) or risk removal (or failing a check). Players who have not made a post or participated in a thread by the following Tuesday will be removed. Characters that make this list more than two times in a row (or continuously meet the bare minimum to resist removal) will be given a warning for not meeting activity requirements. After a warning, this character will be removed on the second offense.

CHARACTER LIMIT∙ Players are currently only allowed 5 characters max (although this number is subject to change based on activity). Players seeking additional characters must allow a a minimum of three weeks between applying for a new character(s) after the first four although an exception may be made for extremely active players.

OOC/MARY SUES/GODMODDING∙ Players need to be sure they have a firm idea of their character's personality and the game's premise before applying. Likewise, players should make sure they're staying in character. Mary Sues/Gary Stus and godmodding are also not allowed. If any of the above is seen happening with a character, the player will receive two warnings before being removed from the game on the third offense.

SHIPPING∙ Slash, het, and femmeslash are all permitted. However, there should be no tilt towards any particular orientation. Keep in mind if your character is anything other than heterosexual that they should be played as the setting requires. Also, bear in mind that character relationships need to be born of an agreement between both players, as well as be believable. If players seem to have joined solely for shipping purposes (and are disregarding other parts of the game for it) or are forcing certain ships on other players they will only receive one warning before being asked to leave the game.

PBs∙ PBs should be as close to canon as possible, although minor details (such as eye color) can be overlooked. But do not use someone like Logan Lerman for a forty year old simply because he 'fits' the description physically. Clearly Logan Lerman cannot pass for forty years old. Likewise do not use Anthony Hopkins for an 11 year old. There should also be a suitable amount of clear icons for your character.

JOURNALs∙ Entries posted in journals are viewable to everyone unless stated otherwise in a 'locked' entry though it should remain public access. To 'lock' an entry to a group or a person put 'locked to (group name)' or 'locked to (person's name)' as the subject. It should always be assumed, unless stated otherwise, that if a private is not addressed to your character (s)he cannot "break into" the other characters' journal. Strike-outs are readable and indicate text was marked out but is still able to be read. Bolded strike-outs however are not readable and represent text that has been edited completely.

THREADS∙ Thread headings should be formatted as follows:

Who: [What characters are involved?]
When: [When is this happening? Date; time of day etc.]
Where: [Where is this happening? Location etc.]
Rating:
Status: [Incomplete/Complete]

TAGs∙ Always tag your threads with the player(s) name(s) [player: name here] and character(s) name(s) [character: name here] format so that during activity checks it is easier on mods to find your threads.

PLAY NICE∙ We are all adults in this community as it will be 18+ therefore we ask that our players act like adults so that everyone can have fun. So the last rule is simply to enjoy yourselves and play nice
